Gateway and edge controller family

Private-network gateways and edge controllers that hold the local schedule, rule engine and node registry, specified by integrators who need on-premises control.

2 models

The family covers a compact private-network gateway with an Ethernet port and an optional outbound MQTT link, and an edge controller that adds field protocols and an on-premises historian buffer. Both hold the schedule, the rule engine and the registry of nodes, so the site can run its routine control without reaching the cloud.

These devices suit sites that want control to survive the loss of the cloud or WAN, and that need to hand documented data to a building or industrial system. They are mounted in an indoor cabinet and expose local interfaces — a local REST API on the gateway, and field protocols on the edge controller.

A specifier must respect the limits. The units are rated for indoor cabinet mounting only. The uplink is optional and the cloud layer is management-only or optional: outbound notifications and remote dashboards are queued until the uplink returns, so nothing should be promised as always-connected. The gateway depends on a local power source and is the point the site must protect. Radio coverage depends on antenna placement and obstructions, and must be confirmed by a site survey.
