Introduction to the documentation set
How this engineering documentation set is organised, why it is English-only, and how to read applicability, method and limits without assuming a parameter we have not published.

This documentation set describes the engineering position of a local-first LoRa switching system: what it can do, the order in which it is commissioned, and what it explicitly does not claim. It is written once in English so that a single reviewed revision exists for every release, rather than several languages drifting from the hardware.
Why this set is English-only
Every electrical value, radio figure and interface definition on this site is reviewed in one language. If we published a second copy, a translation could be edited in a way the English review never saw, and an unreviewed voltage next to a real one is exactly the failure this set is built to prevent.
Placeholder — pending engineering sign-off: the review cadence for the engineering document prefix (e.g. r0.1-draft) has not yet been fixed in writing.
How a document is versioned
Each document carries a frontmatter block with its own revision, its lifecycle status, the SKUs it applies to (effectiveSkuIds), the regions it applies to (regions), its author, its reviewer, and a review-due date (expires). The page you are reading may be rendering an old revision — check the Document revision badge before you follow any procedure here. The same badge carries the per-SKU applicability list, so a mismatch between a document revision and the firmware on a device must be resolved before, not after, the steps.
Where this topic's answer depends on a particular SKU, subsequent documents point at the matching placement in the product pages:
- Wall switch family —
LS-WS-1G,LS-WS-2G,LS-WS-3G - Relay and controller family models
- Gateway and edge controller family —
LS-GW-100,LS-GW-300 - Sensor family models
Limitations
Files in this set state every parameter that has not been signed off rather than supplying an approximate number. Those values read as:
Placeholder — pending engineering sign-off: this value is not published yet.
anything not preceded by that line is a statement of engineering method, order of operations, preconditions, failure modes or a general limit.
Constraints this document itself carries
- It has no electrical, radio, or interface test conditions because it publishes none of those numbers.
- Site range, antenna selection and band choices cannot be resolved on this page; they are the subject of the topology and coverage documents.
What this document does not cover: named test procedures or measured figures belong to the individual topic documents (network topology, coverage and site survey, radio and electrical submission channels), which each publish their own method and note whether the value is available.
