Release notes record what changed and what it affects. This is the first revision of the set, so it records the position of the set rather than a change from a predecessor. This page will not list a firmware version until that firmware has been released and its applicability to a model has been checked.

Revision status

This is revision r0.1-draft, status draft. Every document in the set shares this position: the structure, method and limits are written, and the measured values that would normally fill the specification lines are held back pending engineering sign-off. A document that cannot be verified is not published as if it were.

What this revision establishes

  • The reading order and the versioning rule for the set: applicability is per document, and a document's revision is checked before its procedure is followed.
  • The commissioning sequence, the coverage survey method and the local-first proof, each stated as method rather than as numbers.
  • The interface position: the contract shape is described, and the authoritative field list is delegated to contracts/openapi.yaml, owned by a second team.
  • The compliance position: radio and electrical routes are described, and identifiers are withheld until issued for a specific model and market.

What is pending

The following are intentionally absent from this revision and will appear in a later revision, each with the revision it applies to:

  • Measured electrical, radio and environmental values for each model — they will be published on the model pages and referenced here.
  • Concrete firmware version identifiers and their applicability.
  • Certificate identifiers, issuing bodies and per-market authorisation statements.
  • The concrete interface artefacts: resource paths, problem-type catalogue and field-bus maps.

Placeholder — pending engineering sign-off: the release date and identifier of the next revision, and the list of documents it will change, are not published yet.

Failure modes

  • A procedure followed on the wrong revision: compare this page's revision against the badge on the document you are reading; a mismatch means one of them is stale.
  • A pending value treated as published: anything marked as pending is not a specification. Nothing in this set should be measured from a placeholder.

Limitations

  • This page carries no version number for any firmware or hardware. A release note without a checked release is worse than none, so the identifiers arrive with the release.
  • The set is English-only. A translation would have to be reviewed against the same revision before it could exist, and no such review has happened.

What this document does not cover: the update procedure that will accompany a future release is in Firmware update, and the market rules that decide where a release may be offered are in Radio and electrical routes.
